Mikael Hellen was once again the only Rebel participating in the RDWTCC as they headed to Monza. Mikael had pre-qualifyed into group 2 and brought home to great overall result.
From 3rd on the grid he rocketed away into the lead at the start of race 1. A lead that he would extend through out the race as he won his first race of the season. The start of race two was a bit more hectic for him as he had to start from 8 but after some taps here and there he went on to finish in 4th after being all the way down to 12th in the beginning.
Mikael claimed to 18th in the standings with 1309 points. Rami Kaukola is leading the series with one round to go on 1991 points with fellow RPM:er Peter Eriksson in 2nd.
As always when it comes to WTCC the final round will be held on the streets of Macau on October 11th.
