Last Sunday the 6th round of the team championship was held in Birmingham, US. Five Rebels showed up to what would show a strange end result. Mikael Hellen who was aiming to cut the gap o Andreas Hultgren in standings did so with putting his car on pole and dominating the race in the same fasion he did in the season opener at Donington Park.

Andreas who started 3rd soon was in 2nd but a few mistakes 5 laps into the race ended his chance of keeping up with Miakel. Andreas finished 47 seconds behind Mikael. David Cuthill who qualifyed 2nd accidently forgot to put fuel in his car and by lap 10 he needed to pit. The pitstop didn’t go as planned as his car wasn’t being re-fueled and that would be the end of his day. He was at the time in a strong 3rd place but in the end he wouldn’t score a single point.

Xosé Estrada, who won last weekends race, was nowhere near the frontrunners this time but still managed a 3rd place finish due to Davids problems. Another one that didn’t have luck on his side was Dave Nicol, winner of the second round in Okayama, as he wouldn’t even make it to the green flag.
