After the summerbreak it was time for yet another race of the teams championship. Spa-Fracorchamps was the circuit and it would bring drama right from the start.

Championship leader Andreas Hultgren took the pole ahead of Wietse Visser. Visser however made a jump start and entering Eau Rouge on the first lap he spun of, hitting the barrier and bouncing onto the track causing Andreas to spin aswell. The race was over for Wietse while Andreas could go on to claim a second place finish. At the back of the pack there was a seperate incident in the same corner that involved David Garcia and David Cuthill. Both could continue but Garcias race would end 4 laps later.

The big winners of the first lap incidents were Xosé Estrada and Fran Gil. Fran would however not be able to keep his position as he would drop to 4th, finishing behind David Cuthill with his first podium of the season. Xosé on the other hand cruised to the finish line with a margine of almost 10 seconds in the end to Andreas. This was Xosés first win of the season in his chase for the champsionship as he climed all the way up to 4th in the standings.
