Round 3 of the “team-league” was held last Sunday at Mugello, Italy. Only six Rebels turned up but it was good enough to get an exiting 11 laps of racing. Mikael Hellen who started on pole was unstoppable as he pulled away from the rest of the pack after only a couple of laps and cruised to a comfortable victory.

For second place the fight was tougher. Probably the toughest battle in the entire race as Andreas Hultgren and Clive Siggs were evenly matched and fought hard the whole race. Andreas had the overhand the first half of the race but a spin by the Swede would determine who would get 2nd place as Clive got his best result of the season. Andreas, who didn’t lose much time on the spin, finished close behind Clive as he took his third consecutive third place finish.

David Cuthill took his first points of the season after the disconnection he suffered in round 2 as he finished 4th ahead of Wietse Visser. 6th and last place went to Xosé Estrada that had a terrible race finihsing 2 laps down on the leaders as he also scored his first points of the season.
