Overall great results in RDSTL

By Andreas Hultgren on TBR|

The team had despite some problems a great weekend in the RDSTL as the series headed to Istanbul.

Gregory Degreef had the best day of them all as he finished in an amazing 2nd but it was a close call as he only had .2 litres of fuel left. His teammate Mehmet Arslan came hom in a fine position too as he finished 7th. Andreas Löffler was the only driver of the day in the TBR1 team as Mikael Hellén had PC trouble. Löffler made it home in a fin 5th.

In the second division things looked worse though as Clive Siggs were the only Rebel there but he had to park his car after only 5 laps.

STC: 12th and 15th at Mugello

By Andreas Hultgren on TBR|

The top results keeps staying away from the team in the Simracing Team Challege. Depsite the hard charging Mikael Hellén and Wietse Visser the team once again finished outside the top 10.

Both drivers made mistakes in the qulifying and started all the way back in 18th and 19th. With 25 drivers out of 26 starters finishing the race neither could fall back on others dropping out which made it alot harder. The team is now looking forward to the next race number eight of the season at Anderstrop in just under two weeks time.

Frustrating race at Spa-Francorchamps

By Andreas Hultgren on TBR|

The team and STC headed to Spa-Francorchamps for the 6th round of the Black Cup. But the results were no where near what the team had hoped for.

Andreas Löffler qualifyed in a good 9th and was set to bring home a really nice result at the famous track. But a few laps into the race all the positive thoughts went away as Löffer had a pretty big off at Eau Rouge. He had to visit the pits way too early and his strategy went from one to two stops. A strategy that ruined his chances for a good result and he finished as last runnning car in 18th.

His teammate for the day, Andreas Hultgren, had a pretty rough day aswell and had a poor qualifying and had to start down in 18th. After a couple of wild first laps where he first gained some places but then lost some he finally fought his ill-handeling Ferrari to 15th at the end.

The only thing to be happy about for the team is that both cars scored points but hopes about finishing on the top half of the standings are pretty much gone.
