Anohter tough race for the team in STC

Posted by Andreas Hultgren on TBR|

The team had yet another tough race in the Simracing Team Challenge as the league headed to Germany and the mighty Nordschleife for race 2.

Andreas Löffler qualifyed in 5th and right by the start he passed for 4th. Everything seemed to go very well for him untill the 40 minute mark when he lost controll of his Ferrari and hit the wall. That was the first of a total of 5 pitstops for the German racer. He would in the end still manage to finish in 12th and bring home valuable points to the team.

Mikael Hellén drove the second TBR Ferrari and he also had a tough evening. Not that he had many incidents but he felt he didn’t really have the speed to compete for top positions as he usually is capable of. The only error he had was when he spun and got stuck on a kerb for half a minute. He still finished 11th.

The team now has 52 points and lays 8th but are already 54 points behind the leaders DMSv who finished 1-3 this time around with Roland Ehnström taking the win.
